Looking north across the sage brush, the lighthouse was framed by the flower spikes of Shaws Agave. The spikes are 6-12 ft tall tipped with dense clusters of yellow flowers. We were too late to catch the flowers. This painting was donated for the 12th San Diego River Days Plein Air Workshop 2015.
